You'll be able to set your truck up to track distance by miles or kilometers along with your fuel as gallons, liters or both. The added benefit to having access to the FuelGauges community gets even better when all of the trucks will be displayed in your preferred average calculation whether you are use to L/100m, UK MPG or US MPG.
Let's set up your truck and how you track distance and fuel.
Step 1 :: Go to your My Trucks page found inside of FuelGauges
Step 2 :: Hover over the truck you are changing the settings too and click "EDIT"
Step 3 :: Click on the button that says "Truck Settings" new options will slide down.
Step 4 :: Set the way you track your distance and fuel. For distance you can select MILES or KILOMETERS and for fuel you can select GALLONS, LITERS or BOTH. You would use BOTH when you cross the border and enter your fuel-ups at pumps that are just gallons or just liters. Simply click the toggle and you can enter in liters. Set the toggle back and you are good to enter gallons.
(this toggle will only show up if you select BOTH as the option to track your fuel)
Last Step for your truck :: click "SAVE TRUCK"
Going between fueling up gallons and liters has never been easier.
Only Step :: Simply toggle between gallons and liters.
(Depending on what the pump is measuring the fuel as.)
