How to manage and add expenses

EASILY ADD EXPENSES
Add an entire months worth of expenses in under 30 minutes with the Rutherford method and ProfitGauges.
 
  1. Select the month you want to enter expenses into. With ProfitGauges you can accomplish hours of truck accounting to less than one hour per month.
  2. For an accurate cost per mile enter either your odometer start and end or your total miles for the month.
  3. Easily track your per diem and let us worry about the rate and deductible.
  4. Account categories are divided out for easy access. We recommend setting up an accordion folder to match these categories starting with accounting.
  5. For suggested sub-categories click on the “?”
  6. Don’t forget to save your month’s expenses. If you navigate away from this page you’ll lose your changes to that month.
 
Above the form you’ll notice tabs. If you click on “View all Expenses” you’ll see a list of all months that have had expenses added.
